Overview
Nueagain Direct is committed to providing a secure, transparent, and straightforward payment experience. All transactions are processed in GBP (£) and are protected by industry-standard encryption. We do not store, handle, or have access to your card details at any point during or after a transaction.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We currently accept the following payment methods at checkout.
💳 Credit & Debit Cards
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. All card payments are processed securely via Stripe.
🔒 Stripe Embedded Checkout
Our checkout uses Stripe Elements — an embedded, PCI-DSS compliant payment form hosted directly on our site. Your card details are encrypted and transmitted directly to Stripe. Nueagain never sees, stores, or has access to your full card number, CVV, or expiry date at any point.
Digital Wallets
Where supported by your browser or device, Apple Pay and Google Pay may be available as express payment options at checkout via Stripe.
2. Card Processing Fee
A card processing fee of 1.5% is applied to all card transactions. This fee reflects the cost of secure payment processing and is displayed transparently as a separate line item at checkout before you confirm your order. There are no hidden charges or surprise fees at any stage.
Why We Charge This Fee
As a small single-operator business, absorbing card processing costs across all transactions is not viable without impacting product pricing. We prefer to apply this charge transparently rather than build it invisibly into our prices.
3. Pricing & Currency
Currency
All prices on this Site are displayed and charged in GBP (£ Sterling). If your card is issued in a different currency, your card provider will apply their own exchange rate and any applicable foreign transaction fees. Nueagain has no control over or visibility of these charges.
VAT
Nueagain is a private sole proprietorship and is not currently VAT registered. Prices displayed are the final prices — there is no VAT added at checkout.
Price Accuracy
We make every effort to ensure all prices displayed on the Site are accurate. In the event of a pricing error we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund before dispatch. We will always contact you in this situation before taking any action.
4. Payment Security
The security of your payment information is our highest priority.
🔐 PCI-DSS Compliance
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of certification available in the payments industry.
🔐 SSL Encryption
All data transmitted between your browser and this Site is protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption. Look for the padlock icon in your browser address bar when completing a transaction.
🔐 No Card Data Stored
Nueagain Commerce does not store any card data on our servers. No card numbers, CVV codes, or expiry dates are held by us at any point. All payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe in accordance with their security standards.
🔐 3D Secure Authentication
Where required by your card issuer, 3D Secure authentication (Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode) may be triggered during checkout. This is an additional layer of fraud protection managed by your bank and is entirely normal.
5. Order Confirmation & Payment Processing
Payment Authorisation
Payment is taken at the point of order confirmation. You will receive an order confirmation email once payment has been successfully authorised. If payment is declined, your order will not be placed and no charge will be made.
Order Confirmation
Receipt of an order confirmation email confirms that your payment has been accepted and your order is being prepared for dispatch. It does not constitute a contract of sale until your item has been dispatched.
Failed Payments
If your payment fails at checkout, please check your card details and try again. If the problem persists, contact your card issuer in the first instance. You are also welcome to contact us directly and we will do our best to assist.
6. Fraud Prevention
To protect both our customers and our business, all transactions are subject to standard fraud screening by Stripe. In rare cases this may result in a payment being flagged for review or declined. If you believe your payment has been incorrectly declined, please contact us and we will investigate.
Suspicious Activity
Nueagain reserves the right to cancel any order where fraudulent activity is suspected and to report such activity to the relevant authorities. Any order placed using false or stolen payment details will be reported to the police and to Action Fraud.
7. Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. We do not issue refunds via alternative methods such as bank transfer or store credit unless agreed in writing.
Refund Timeframe
Once a refund has been approved and initiated by us, it typically takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement depending on your card issuer. This is outside our control once the refund has been submitted.
Card Processing Fee
The 1.5% card processing fee is non-refundable in the event of a voluntary return, as this cost is incurred at the point of transaction and is not recoverable by us. In the event of a faulty or significantly not-as-described item, the card fee will be refunded in full.

8. Chargebacks
We ask that customers contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their card issuer. In the vast majority of cases we can resolve disputes quickly and informally without the need for a formal chargeback process. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in the suspension of your account.
If you have a genuine dispute that we have been unable to resolve, you are of course entitled to pursue a chargeback through your card provider as is your right under UK consumer law.
